Editing Layers — Defining Color

Defining Color

Color and fill style for all the back, instrument and front layers are defined using either the Fill and Outline box or the Color box.

The Fill and Outline Box

The Fill and Outline box works like the coloring control in vector illustration programs like Adobe Illustrator.

It is divided in 3 parts:

  1. Fill Target – Defines the target of coloring operation: fill area or outline.

  2. Fill Type – Defines how the fill target is drawn.

    • None

    • Solid

    • Linear Gradient

    • Radial Gradient

    • Image

    • Movie

  3. Color Box – For setting solid or gradient color. Brings up the standard Color Panel

The Color Box

Clicking on the Color Box brings up the standard Color Panel which allows color definition using several color models.
